Audrey Hepburn was one of the most beautiful and graceful women in show
business. Her show business roots extend back to Nazi-occupied Holland
where she danced as a ballerina to raise funds for the
Dutch resistance.
The harsh conditions she endured during this period led to her involvement
in UNICEF in her later years. Following the war, she continued
as a ballerina in
Amsterdam, and then to London, where she first appeared in
films. Ultimately Audrey Hepburn stared in over two dozen films.
She died in small Swiss town (Tolochenaz), her home for 30 years, and where
she is now buried.
